BOSS delivers acclaimed Katana tones in a compact portable amp with the Katana-Mini X, a 10W battery-powered combo amp with a custom 5″ speaker. Sporting three amp types (Brown, Crunch, and Lead) with one variation per type and two fully independent FX engines with 10 FX each, the Katana-Mini X is ideal for practice and jamming.
The 3-band EQ control makes tonal shaping quick and easy. With wireless Bluetooth streaming, you can jam to your favorite tracks played from your preferred smart device, and connections are provided for DI recording and silent practice (via stereo 1/4″ out with cab simulation) and USB-C charging of the internal battery. The battery provides up to 10 hours of playtime. The Katana-Mini X includes a USB-C charging cable.
Three core amp sounds are available, along with a tonal variation that’s accessible with a panel switch. One variation is an uncolored clean sound for using Katana-Mini X with an acoustic-electric guitar or bass.
- Brown: Signature Katana high-gain sound inspired by the finest hard rock tones of all time. This amp type features a variation for tighter lows and crisper highs, ideal for precision high-gain riffing.
- Crunch: A fat and expressive mid-gain sound that responds to volume changes and picking dynamics. This amp sports a variation that adds smooth yet cutting high end for more aggressive playing styles.
- Clean: With Clean, you can use the gain knob to go from natural clean to slightly driven sounds, while providing an excellent platform for external FX. Clean includes a variation with a flat amp response that’s ideal for acoustic/electric guitar and electric bass.
Katana-Mini X comes packed with powerful tools to take your music to the next level. The convenient rechargeable battery allows you to move to different rooms or outdoor locations without the hassle of AC power.
Bluetooth support lets you jam with music from your mobile device, and use the amp as a portable speaker for casual music playback. The onboard guitar/bass tuner is always at the ready with a quick button press. And when you want to play quietly, you can plug in headphones and enjoy high-quality tones with built-in cabinet simulation and stereo effects.
